The Infrared Glass Towel Dryer 670 W in black is a 1000 × 365 mm tempered-glass panel with two or three towel racks for large bathrooms. The black mirror-like glass is a design accent against light tiles; functionally it is the same panel as the white model — it dries towels and bathrobes on the racks and, in heater mode, warms the tiles, the walls and the air.

Infrared heats surfaces first — tiles, walls, the towel itself — and the air follows, so the bathroom feels warm sooner than with a fan heater. Everything is controlled from the free GPO Home app: timer, weekly schedule, two modes (towel drying / room heating), thermostat and Nord Pool price automation.

What it costs to run. 670 W rated; because the thermostat cuts the power once the surface or the room reaches the set temperature, the average draw in use is roughly half the rating. One hour at full power is 0.67 kWh — about €0.16 at Estonian household prices (23.2 c/kWh incl. VAT); a morning-and-evening routine of 2–3 hours typically lands in the order of €0.25–0.45 a day. A calculation from the rated power, not a measurement of your bathroom.

How it works

1. Mount it on the wall with the brackets in the box, outside the direct splash zone of the shower. It plugs into an ordinary socket — no electrician.
2. Connect it in the GPO Home app (Wi-Fi or Bluetooth) and choose the mode: towel drying or room heating.
3. Set the timer or a weekly schedule — for example 06:30–07:30 and 21:00–22:00 — or switch on Nord Pool mode to prefer the cheapest hours.

Two racks or three? Is 670 W enough?

• 2 racks — two to four bath towels or a towel and a bathrobe; a bathroom used by two people.
• 3 racks — towels for a family, or towels on two racks and small laundry on the third.
• Heating. We rate the 670 W class for 10–14 m² as the only heat source in a well-insulated room, 7–9 m² in an older building, and up to 25 m² as supplementary heat. A large bathroom with bath and shower (7–14 m²) is this panel's home; for a small bathroom or toilet the compact 500 W towel dryer is enough.

FAQ

❓ Can it be installed in the bathroom?
Yes — outside the direct splash zone of the shower or bath. The heating element is sealed and moisture-resistant; mount the panel where shower water does not hit it directly.

❓ Does it really dry a bath towel?
Yes. The whole 1000 × 365 mm surface heats evenly, so towels on the racks dry across their full width, not only along a rail. Delicate fabrics are safe because the surface temperature is limited.

❓ Will it heat the whole bathroom?
A bathroom of 7–14 m² — yes, as the only heat source in a reasonably insulated room; larger rooms as supplementary heat. Send us the room size and building year and we will check.

❓ Do I need an electrician?
No. Wall brackets, a few screws, then plug it into an ordinary socket. At 12 kg the panel needs a solid fixing; any standard wall anchor for that weight will do.

❓ How much electricity does it use?
0.67 kWh per hour at full power — about €0.16 at Estonian household prices; roughly half that on average with the thermostat. With a 2–3-hour daily schedule, in the order of €0.25–0.45 a day.

❓ Does it work if the internet goes down?
Yes. The schedule is stored in the device; it keeps running and syncs again when the connection returns. Bluetooth control works without internet.

❓ Which languages do the app and support work in?
The app is in Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Finnish, Russian and English. Support answers in Estonian, Russian and English.
